DDTE 2010 Kicks off Tomorrow with More than 130 Regional and International Companies Present
Dubai - United Arab Emirates, December 12th 2010: INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organisation Est. announced in a press conference today the commencement of the third edition of the Dubai Drink Technology Expo (DDTE), taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from December 13th thru December 15th 2010.
The press conference was held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, presided by Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of DDTE and AABM and President of INDEX Holding, Dr. Ahmed Al Banna, Secretary General of the Arab Asian Beverage Alliance and Mr. Larry Hobbs, Executive Director of The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT).
Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani spoke during the press conference about the success that the exhibition accomplished during the past two years, which had witnessed a tremendous participation from the region and the world. He also said: "the Dubai Drink Tech Expo is a unique opportunity for businessmen and investors of the UAE, the Middle East and Asia to meet their peers from beverage technology representatives, and service suppliers from the US, Europe and Asia to explore the latest technologies they use."
The Arab Asian Beverage Alliance (AABM) - a highly ranked conference, running in conjunction with the Dubai Drink Technology Expo, is also held for the third time, and as in the previous two year, the Alliance will feature renowned international speakers.
Dr. Ahmed Al Banna said: "we have a number of prominent speakers and international experts participating in AABM whom are leaders in the beverage industry and have profound business experience. Our main focus is to develop this sector and introduce modern technology that takes environment into consideration while developing the business and machinery in the food and beverage industry. "
"the Arab Asian Beverage Alliance program will address issues within the beverage industry, the use of blow fill technology as key to optimize production costs in PET bottling, SBO Universal2 ECO, Enhanced Polyolefin Solutions for Light- weight beverage closures, Performance and Trends for the Beverage Industry, Water Management Best Practice - An International View Point, Replacing Traditional Detergents and Sanitizers in Food and Beverage Manufacturing, in addition to many other critical issues". Al Banna added.
Al Banna mentioned that the committee is seeking to enhance the regional participation through marketing the Alliance and The Exhibition in all Arab and Asian countries, concentrating on industrial countries such as Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt, and the far east including India, Malaysia, Japan and Korea, in addition to the United States, Germany, and Italy whom are leaders in this field.
Mr. Larry Hobbs said: "the ISBT is pleased to participate this year in the Dubai Drink Tech Expo, and we are excited at the opportunity to work with Soft Drink Industry professionals in the MENA region and to host our first ISBT Middle Eastern Alliance with the support and help of the Arab Asian Beverage Alliance."
It is also worth noting that the DDTE and the AABM will feature the latest updates on the drink processing and packaging systems, light machinery, equipments used in the process of manufacturing, treatment, filling, supply, packaging, transport, preservation and distribution of beverages. Moreover, more than 130 exhibiting companies are participating from 62 countries, and the organizers are expecting more than 10,000 trade visitors and specialists from the region and the world.
