Cyprus offers investment in homes
DOHA: A well-established property developer in Cyprus is offering Qatari businessmen to invest on a wide array of residential homes that will suit according to their preference and taste for their vacation gate away or permanent retirement residence.
Pafilia Property Developers, known in Europe as number one in architectural designs, held a two-day presentation at Sharq Village and Spa to let Qatari individual investors appreciate better what the residential projects in Cyprus can offer.
At the presentation, Pafilia showcased its portfolio of modern and traditional designs from apartments and penthouses to luxury custom built villas in Cyprus already gaining attention as Europe's most sought after tourist destinations.
Michael Aniftos (pictured), Area Manager for Pafilia Property Developers Middle East region, told The Peninsula at the sidelines before the presentation that they find Qatar as a substantial market especially that Qatar and Cyprus recently have a bilateral agreement on several investment opportunities.
Aniftos mentioned about the huge half a billion Qatari riyal project in Nicosia initiated by Qatari Diar for the construction of conference centre, hotel, restaurant and other facilities.
"Property investment in Cyprus has been faring very well," Aniftos said adding that many Arab people have already shown interest in purchasing individual properties in the country because it is viewed as gateway to Europe offering a warm climate, low humidity, low crime rate, easy accessibility from the Middle East and a very family-oriented culture.
"Cyprus is perfect for a holiday home and even for those looking to retire," Aniftos said.
Pafilia has over 30 years experience in developing Cyprus and has a range of properties to suit the Middle East buyer from private exclusive villas to apartments and penthouses right by the sea.
