TAGSB Hosts the Rise and Fall of the Japanese Economy Lecture
Prof. Katusji Okachi, professor of economics at Ryukoku University in Kyoto/Japan gave a comprehensive look at the strong relations between Jordan and Japan, an overview on the economic situation around the world in addition to other issuesAMMAN - November 21, 2010 -The Rise and Fall of the Japanese Economy was tackled on November 10, 2010 during a special lecture jointly organized under the patronage of HE the Japanese Ambassador to Amman Mr. Tetsuo Shioguchi by the Embassy of Japan in Jordan and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh School of Business (TAGSB) at TAG-Business Forum.
Prof. Katsuji Okachi, professor of economics at Ryukoku University in Kyoto/Japan gave a comprehensive look at the strong relations between Jordan and Japan, an overview on the economic situation around the world in addition to other issues.
He also discussed aspects of a single currency system in Asian region and the significance of establishing the optimum currency area based on the Japanese Yen in Asia and what currencies in Asia should be included in establishing the basket system to achieve monetary stability in Asia.
Prof. Okachi is a well-known figure in the world of economics and has published several books that deal with society and economics.
