Panasonic to Showcase Solutions and Technology for the Education Sector at BETT Middle East
Panasonic , a world leader in consumer electronics and system solutions, will showcase its latest business solution for the education sector at the inaugural BETT Middle East, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 21 and 22 November 2010.

Future Education - MENA, BETT Middle East builds on BETT's reputation as the leading global event for educational technology and solutions.

BETT Middle East will feature around 100 exhibitors showcasing a world of innovative educational ICT solutions, along with a Discussion Zone with engaging debate from leading speakers and the Demonstration Zone where visitors can experience "hands on" demonstrations of new products and services. With more than 50 million students in the Middle East, the 90,000 schools which cater for them are looking for the newest and most innovative educational technology products to enhance their teaching and learning.

HD Video Conferencing

Panasonic will also showcase KX-VC500, HD visual communication system, featuring a wide range of Panasonic technologies to deliver high image and sound quality with stable connection.

The new Full HD system dramatically allows for video conferencing taking place over greater distances without any loss of quality. The KX-VC500 is a clear departure from conventional video conferencing. This system is supported by advanced Panasonic technologies to help deliver high image and sound quality and stable connection.

The Panasonic KX-VC500 HD Visual Communications Solution is comprised of Panasonic 50 inch Full HD VIERA Plasma TV, the codec, two HD video cameras, 360 degrees HD audio microphone, VPN router and an intuitive remote control, along with standard cables and accessories. It includes on-screen guidance and one-touch memory keys for frequent meetings and also includes both on-site and remote technical support from Panasonic .

Panaboard

The impressive 82" wide version, or the more compact 77" elite Panasonic Panaboard UB-T880 series, completes with a built-in amplifier which connects to USB speakers and built into two USB hub-ports and up to 3 fingers touch will also be put on show for visitors to review.

The interactive whiteboard offers an unparalleled working environment by which allows display of the contents of a computer screen directly onto the board. This enables users to operate their own software applications for school lessons.

The elite Panasonic Panaboard UB-T880 Series comes complete with a built-in amplifier which connects to USB speakers, built into two USB hub-ports and up to 3 finger touch.

The new series also provides simple video and audio data transfer through the unique wireless connection, all incorporated within the enhanced elite Panaborad software.

Windows applications like PowerPoint and Excel, and even special educational software, can be operated right on the Panaboard. The elite Panasonic Panaboard software enables users to write or draw onto the screen, add notes, diagrams, text and images. This provides powerful support for both business and education, with persuasive presentations back by internet resources for the office, and engaging lessons filled with large-screen visuals for the classroom.

Projectors

Innovative projectors like the PT - DZ110XE, a 3-chip DLP projector with 10,000:1 contrast ratio with 10,000 hours of use, where as the PT-ST10EA, is portable and ideal for using with a Panaboard, and the eco-friendly PT-LB1EA / LB2EA are portable LCD projectors which will also be on exhibit.

These new eco-friendly projectors offer 5,000 hour of lamp replacement cycle in eco mode. Panasonic projectors, affording customers a choice of resolutions and aspect ratios, are ideally suited for a wide range of fixed installation and public display venues including live events, auditoriums, staging, digital signage and independent cinema.

For added flexibility, a wired LAN connection enables remote operation, which is especially ideal for ceiling-mounted use. Multi Projector Monitoring and Control Software is available for monitoring and controlling multiple Panasonic projectors from a single PC, which means a projector's status and condition can be checked without anyone having to physically walk to the room where it is installed.
