Kia Oman shines in Skills World Cup

Recently RIA technicians won the silver medal in the highly contested Kia Skills World Cup. The core objective of the skill competition is to 'Fix It Right the First Time' (FRFT), which is one of the most important factors in increasing customer satisfaction. The event helps technicians to train themselves to world-class levels and deepen their understanding of Kia models.
The skill and knowledge levels of the technicians were evaluated based on the following parameters -- trouble shooting diagnosis method, Trouble finding efficiency, finding problems within time, precautionary measures and safety aspects. There was a written test to evaluate the theoretical knowledge held for technicians. Finally, the skill levels of technicians were evaluated in engine, chassis and electrical aggregates by using the 'simulation method'.
