Speedy signs business at ADIPEC
DUBAI: Speedy International Asset Services Equipment Rental LLC (Speedy), the new regional division of UK-based Speedy Hire Plc, received a warm reception to its market debut at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) last week with business contracts signed at the show.
"We have been very impressed with the ADIPEC event as a business forum. Our stand was inundated with trade visitors and we even signed new business at the event. For a first-time attendance that is particularly impressive," commented Andy Carter, Managing Director, Speedy.
Speedy, which entered the Middle East and North Africa market in January, signed new business in Saudi Arabia at ADIPEC - further expanding its regional network. The asset management provider already has operations in the UAE and Egypt, and is expanding into Oman and Qatar as well.
Speedy used the ADIPEC show to unveil its 'Speedy in a Box' service to the market. Tailored to meet the needs of the oil and gas, infrastructure and defence, and construction industries, Speedy in a Box is a unique, bespoke Asset service, specially designed for projects in remote locations, making it an ideal solution for many of the region's desert-based developments.
