Dubai International Financial Centre, Motor City and Jumeirah Lakes Towers join 11 existing UAE locations
Dubai, October 11, 2010: Caffè Nero, the premium Italian-style coffee house brand has opened three new stores in Dubai, which join 11 existing outlets in the UAE.
The new stores are located at The Balcony Precinct Building 2, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Green Community Motor City and Almas Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Caffè Nero opened its first store in the UAE at The Dubai Mall in March 2009 and has since expanded into Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.
"During the brand's introduction into the UAE last year, our aim was to get Caffè Nero into high traffic retail areas to build recognition and to get as many visitors to sample our wonderful product offering. In the next phase of expansion, we are targeting residential communities, business and mixed-use developments," said Mike Hoff, General Manager, Al Tayer Trends - exclusive franchisee for Caffè Nero.
Expanding its food offering, Caffè Nero has introduced 17 new menu additions with healthy eating options such as Low Fat Blackberry & Bran Muffin, Low Fat Cranberry Slice, Tuna & Cannelini Bean Salad, Chicken & Red Pesto Orzo Pasta Salad and Tuna Niçoise Salad. Other choices include Superfruit Booster Bar, Spiced Apple & Pecan Muffin, Date & Walnut Slice, Apple Crumble and Croque Monsieur.
Caffè Nero has been voted the Number One UK Consumer choice for the past eight years by The Allegra Report. The Allegra Report is compiled every year and is accepted as the definitive consumer report for the coffee retail industry, focusing on both the branded coffee market and the overall coffee retail industry in the UK.
Caffè Nero is renowned for offering a superb customer experience by friendly and expert staff offering a unique, personalised (one-on-one) barista service, selling the finest espresso-based Italian quality coffee, iced drinks and a wide range of freshly prepared, deli-style food.
The menu includes a range of delicious Italian influenced food, using natural, fresh ingredients, ranging from freshly toasted Panini, speciality breads and salads as well as an indulgent selection of cakes, muffins and pastries.

Even the Gambero Rosso's "Bar d'Italia" guide supports it: the espresso in Milan is some of the most underachieving coffee in the entire Italian peninsula. I'm not exactly sure Caffe Nero is aiming high with that kind of statement.
