RAKBANK Expands its Branch Network in Abu Dhabi
Bank launches new branch in Corniche area
RAKBANK recently expanded its branch network in the nation's capital with the launch of its latest branch located in the bustling Corniche area in Abu Dhabi.
The new Corniche branch is expected to become one of the Bank's busiest branches due to its convenient location in the nation's capital. The branch will serve customers within the Corniche area, which is home to a sizeable residential community consisting of both UAE nationals and expatriates, offering them a full range of banking services to individuals and businesses.
"The economic boom and the resilience exhibited by the UAE's capital during the past difficult two years have confirmed Abu Dhabi as a very fertile and promising market," said Graham Honeybill, RAKBANK General Manager. "The new RAKBANK branch will compliment our existing network in Abu Dhabi and, in time, grow into a substantial customer base."
"Even with the success of the Bank's newer facilities like telephone banking and online banking, branches continue to be a key service channel, handling a substantial portion of overall transactions," said Ian Hodges, RAKBANK Head of Personal Banking. "For that, we are constantly looking at opportunities to extend our distribution reach in key locations across the UAE."
RAKBANK serves its customers through 28 branches spread across the UAE, complemented by 24-hour service available through phone banking, online banking, and a Twitter account.
