Rise in Oman Flour Mills' 2010 net
MUSCAT -- Oman Flour Mills Company ( OFM ) along with its subsidiaries (the Group) has posted a net profit after tax of RO 8.401 million for the year ended June 30, 2010 compared with earnings of RO 4.926 million during the previous year.Net profit for the period, after minority interest, was RO 8.407 million for this year, against RO 4.878 million during the previous year.
Announcing the initial unaudited financial results for the year ended June 30, 2010, the company reported a slight fall in group sales to RO 48.958 million this year, from RO 51.333 million last year.
Operational profit this year was also marginally lower at RO 8.735 million from RO 8.875 million during the previous year. However, the net profit margin this year was higher at 17.17 per cent, compared to 9.5 per cent during 2009.
