Iran NPC to increase annual products
Tehran, July 18, IRNA - Managing-Director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) of Iran Gholam-Hossein Bayat reported Sunday on the increase in the annual NPC products that would reach 100 million tons at the end of the Iranian calendar year of 1394 (March 20, 2016). Addressing a number of NPC staff members, Bayat said 70 projects are planned to be implemented in order to achieve that goal.He further called for construction of new petrochemical complexes to match the increase of gas production in the South Pars gas fields.
The National Petrochemical Company touched 34.4 million tons of products last year, the NPC chief said.
If there was any problem, the NPC would be capable of producing 17 billion liters of gasoline per day, Bayat further said.
