Saud set to open Louvre exhibition
RIYADH: Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal will visit France on Monday to hold consultations with senior officials including his French counterpart Bernard Kouchner on a range of bilateral and regional issues. Prince Saud will also open the first Saudi exhibition "Roads of Arabia" at the world-renowned Louvre Museum in Paris."A high-ranking delegation will accompany Prince Saud," said Osama Nugali, a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry. He said Prince Sultan ibn Salman, chief of the Supreme Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, is already in France.
Apart from providing a fascinating insight into Arabia, the exhibition will also change the stereotypical image of the Kingdom.
