Countdown to new chemical process exhibition
Trade event serving the chemical and petrochemical industries will debut in November
DUBAI,29 June 2010: Dubai-based International Expo-Consults (IEC) is preparing for the roll out of a new trade show dedicated to serving the chemical, petrochemical and other related industries later this year.
Chemical Process Plant Machinery (CPPM) Middle East will run alongside CHEMSPEC, an annual industry gathering organised by dmg media.
"With the increase in the demand for process technology and equipment in the Middle East region, IEC sensed the need to launch an exclusive event which caters to the growing demands of chemical, petrochemical and other related industries. Chemical Process Plant and Machinery aspires to showcase the latest technologies and cutting edge products of the industry," said Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of IEC.
CPPM ME will be held alongside CHEMSPEC from 29th - 30th November 2010 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
A number of new-to-market sectors will also be promoted through CPPM, including detection measurement, power transmission, manufacturing machines and equipment, crushers, shredders and dispensers.
The Middle East is the most dynamic chemical and petrochemical production centre in the world. Investment in the region's US$56 billion petrochemical and chemical sectors is growing at an estimated 10-15% annually.
In the UAE alone, investment in this sector is expected to increase threefold in the near future, opening up opportunities in the downstream end use processing sector.
Global competition, environmental imperatives and a challenging economy are driving manufacturers to lower costs and increase efficiency in a more sustainable manner. CPPM 2010 will address these needs by connecting attendees to suppliers with the right solutions and technical expertise to help them succeed.
The exhibition will run alongside the international CHEMSPEC exhibition, organised by dmg media. Both organisers are working in close cooperation with each other and will offer a streamlined registration process that will allow visitors to easily access both events.
