Iran Plast 2010 Kicks Off
The seventh edition of the Iran Plast international exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday in the Permanent International Fairground in Tehran.The opening ceremony was attended by Iran Oil Minister Masoud Mirkazemi, Managing Director of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Abdolhosain Bayat and some other oil industry officials, Shana wrote.
Also a great number of managers from Iran Oil Ministry subsidiary companies, NPC and its subsidiaries, members of Parliament, plastic industry and corporate officials were present in the inauguration ceremony.
According to the public relations department of the NPC, the number of domestic and foreign exhibitors has increased remarkably in comparison to the sixth exhibition.
During the seventh edition of the Iran Plast exhibition, 423 companies from Iran and 257 companies from 22 foreign countries showcase their products in a 19,300 square meter space.
The previous exhibition was held in a 16,000 square meter area with participation of 367 domestic companies and 137 companies from 13 countries around the world.
In addition to Iranian companies, companies from Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Swiss, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE and UK have participated in the event. Latest innovations, products and services will be put on display in the seventh edition of the event in four groups including row materials, machinery, finished and semi- finished, and technical and engineering services.
