Dr. Adnan Al Sultan and Yew Meng Fong join Saffar Capital Board of Directors
Dubai, UAE- June 22, 2010: Saffar Capital , a DIFC based regional financial services firm, announced the appointments of Dr. Adnan Al-Sultan, former Chief Investment Manager for Direct Investments of the Kuwait Investment Authority, and Mr. Yew Meng Fong, former Managing Director of HSBC Futures and Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Securities, to its board of directors. With the two appointments, Saffar Capital has expanded its board to five members."I am very pleased to have Dr. Adnan and Yew Meng join our board. Both have enjoyed very successful careers and bring the ideal blend of international and regional experience," said Mishaal Al-Usaimi, CEO of Saffar Capital .
Dr. Al-Sultan brings to Saffar Capital more than thirty years of financial investment, strategic planning and management experience, including leadership positions in academia, asset management and consulting businesses.
