Jordan Maritime Complex for Real Estate Investments Signs a Management Agreement with Hilton Worldwide
To Manage their latest Hotel in Aqaba
Amman, Jordan: Jordan Maritime Complex for Real Estate Investments LLC (JMCREI), co-owned by Jordan National Shipping Lines PLC and Salam International Transport & Trading Co. PLC., has signed an agreement with Hilton Worldwide "Doubletree by Hilton" to manage their most recent development in Aqaba, a deluxe hotel located in the center of the tourist and business district of the city.
As per the agreement, signed on June 1st, 2010, Doubletree by Hilton will manage the Hotel, which is scheduled for inauguration by the third quarter of 2010. The 181 rooms business and leisure hotel is located in a dynamic area of Aqaba, and will encompass 5 food and beverage outlets, a swimming pool, health club and spa, a multi-function meeting room, and a business centre.
Chairman of Jordan National Shipping Lines and of JMCREI, Mr. Ahmad Armoush, said "Signing this agreement with Hilton Worldwide will help us elevate the quality of services provided to our customers at this hotel, while taking advantage of Hilton's upscale services and expertise in hospitality services. This step is also intended to further promote the tourism and investment sectors in the Kingdom and in Aqaba particularly".
