Savola holds annual leadership conference
JEDDAH: The Savola Group organized its annual conference for its leadership team and key executives under the theme of "Focus to Win".The event drew more than 300 key managers from the group, led by the group's Managing Director Dr. Sami Baroum, and Savola Foods' MD Dr. Abdulraoof Manna.
The one-day event began with an introduction from Baroum, who welcomed the participants and thanked Savola team members for their efforts, outstanding performance and team spirit, which he said continued to drive Savola 's strategy and reinforce its leadership locally, regionally, and globally.
The event witnessed presentations from all sector heads with expectations and plans for 2010, ending with a question and answer session.
Injaz Saudi Arabia, which is supported by the Savola Group , also presented its volunteering program and urged employees to take part.
The conference ended with a recognition ceremony for Savola 's long-standing employees as well as retirees. Savola Champion Teams were also recognized.
The conference concluded with a special presentation honoring Baroum for his efforts and achievements during his tenure, which will end on June 30. Manaa will succeed him.
