Dubai 30 May 2010: Almost a quarter of private businesses plan to deploy more resources to boost their Social Media presence during the year 2010 according to the organisers of 'YouLearnTwitFace' a social media conference that will be held here in Dubai.

"Twenty two per cent of SME's are planning to focus on social networking; twenty eight per cent on online videos and twenty one per cent on mobile advertisements," said Gautam Ganglani, Managing Director of Dubai-based Right Selection, organisers of the conference. He was citing a report that was released by Ad-ology Research.

Ernesto Verdugo, UAE based Internet events expert is the Host and Keynote speaker for the event.

"This exclusive event will coach on how social media is used by businesses and business opportunities available for professionals on intelligent use blogs, social networks, podcasts and online videos," said Verdugo.

He said that Social Media help businesses to craft new relationships with their customers, increase sales and the level of customer satisfaction and amplify customer satisfaction

Ganglani pointed out that SME's are focusing more and more on innovation, and Social Media is part of the digital-age marketing revolution. "60 per cent of online masses use social networks which in turn influence their buying habits."

"Social networks dictate media consumption that provides precise information for SME's. Analysing the raw data from social networking websites is not a rocket science, however, gathering a collective opinion from the social media require knowledge and training which will be offered at this conference."

Ganglani added: "Social media attract and capture audience and followers from a wide range of population from students, grandparents, leisure seekers to business people.

He pointed out that 52 per cent of social media users are the fan of at least one brand.

More than ten well-known experts on Social Media will be coaching on the strategic importance of social networks. More than 100 young professionals will attend the conference and learn the business opportunities on social media.
