Dubai International Boat Show Wins Coveted Industry Award
Region's Longest Running Boat Show Recognised for Innovation and Excellence in Leisure Marine Industry
Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai International Boat Show was the winner of the Business Achievement Award 2010 for Innovation & Excellence at the World of Yachts Recognition Awards for Excellence at a major ceremony held over the weekend in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Arab Marine Industries Association (AMIA) presented the award to Dubai International Boat Show for its continued outstanding contribution to the leisure marine industry over two decades.
The Dubai International Boat Show is the largest and most established event of its kind in the Middle East having launched the first event in 1992. Next year's show, the 19th edition, will be held at the Dubai International Marine Club from 1 - 5 March 2011.
The Dubai International Boat Show attracts more than 23,000 visitors each year to see the latest boats and leisure marine products and services from more than 700 companies including international brands Atlantis, Azimut, Benetti, CRN, Danish Yachts, Four Winns, Palmer Johnson, Riviera, Trinity Yachts and Westport.
This year's show was the platform for 15 Global Launches and 25 Regional Premiers, highlighting the powerful influence of the Dubai International Boat Show to the global leisure marine industry.
