Nasair celebrates its 2nd year of success in Lebanon"

Beirut, Lebanon : In commemoration of its second year on the launch of its flights between Beirut and Riyadh & Jeddah. Nasair - the Saudi Leading Smart Airline organized a ceremony in Beirut attended by top airline industry figures, travel agencies and dignitary from various sectors in Lebanon. The ceremony was hosted by Dr. Maria Hanne - Nasair Chief Commercial Officer.
Dr. Maria stated in her speech during the Ceremony that nasair is serving its customers in Lebanon through 14 flights weekly from Beirut to Riyadh and Jeddah, 7 flights each. She added that nasair started flights from and to Beirut since July 2008 with only 3 flights from Beirut to Jeddah; we are also proud that nasair is the leading smart airline to carry the pilgrims and Umrah performers from and to Lebanon, not only that, added Maria cargo services is a new area we have all the capability to provide it to our customers.
Dr. Hanne attributed the success of
Nasair
to the excellent performance of
Nasair
regional representative in Lebanon and to the confidence and supports of more than 180 appointed travel agencies we are proud at
nasair
to cooperate with them all.
Dr. Maria also mentioned that
nasair
advanced fleet, which now includes "12 modern aircraft and expected to rise to 15 aircraft by the end of the 2010, enabled
nasair
to have more than 400 flights weekly to 30 domestic and international destinations.
Finally, Dr. Maria revealed
Nasair
, will add three new routes in India this year after Mumbai which launched last April, Khartoum, the capital of Sudan and Aleppo, in Syria, from May 2010, through these destinations
Nasair
expects to have 2.6 million passengers this year, "Our penetration in Saudi Arabia is getting better and better and in the region we are stronger," she said.
Nasair
currently has12 aircraft, and will add two Embraer E190s in 2010, two in 2011 and three Airbus A320s in 2012, she said,
