Al Futtaim Real Estate Group Egypt unveil new plans at Next Move 2010
AFGRE 's Cairo Festival City launch Festival Living and the Business District
CAIRO, EGYPT, April 28th, 2010 - Today, at the opening of Egypt's largest real estate exhibition, Next Move; Al Futtaim Group Real Estate ( AFGRE ) Egypt launched the two newest elements of Cairo Festival City's project mix; Festival Living and the Business District. During Next Move 2010 which will be hosted between April 28th and May 1st at the Cairo International Convention and Conference Centre, AFGRE Egypt will showcase the many advantages that their prestigious apartment range; Festival Living and the Southern Business District will have to offer the rising number of New Cairo citizens.

Elaborating on their decision to launch Festival Living during Next Move, AFGRE Egypt 's Senior General Manager, Dr. Mohamed El Mikawi said "Egypt's population is growing, and the larger it becomes the more diverse the needs of consumers get. Launching Festival Living allows will allow us to diversify our residential mix and cater to the growing needs of the public.

Upon completion, Festival Living will offer approximately 620 apartments ranging in size from 145 to 320 sqm, with options for two, three or four bedroom apartments. Residents will also have access to the mixed use development's modern club house, which will host an outdoor swimming pool, spa, tennis court and restaurant.

During the exhibition Cairo Festival City will also showcase phase one of the Business District which will eventually see the completion of seven office buildings, the first of which is expected to be completed in late 2011. Discussing the Southern Business District further, AFGRE Egypt 's Director for Design Management, Ahmed Touni, said "In the coming years New Cairo will be an increasingly important business district. We have already witnessed a large number of multinational companies moving out to New Cairo and hope that the Southern Business District will address a growing need."

The Southern Business District will help bridge the gap between demand and supply for business space, allowing companies to rent shell and core office space. With a prime location offering easy access to all of the mixed use development's main facilities and utilities, and close proximity to the business hotel; the Southern Business District will offer all the essentials that multinational companies require including elevators on every wing, air conditioning, chilled water, BMS, generators, garbage chutes, high speed internet connection, 24/7 CCTV security, and fire fighting systems. .

During the exhibition, AFGRE 's booth will display mock-up models of Cairo Festival City's development, showcasing the projects progress to date and the individual districts the development will host. The exhibition, which is expected to be even bigger than last year, will be a chance for visitors and key dignitaries, including the Minister of Housing, to gain a greater understanding of Cairo Festival City's expanding vision.
