NEWOUNSA Opens Flagship Store In The Heart Of Beirut
Beirut, 16 April 2010 - NEWOUNSA announced today the opening of its new flagship boutique in Downtown Beirut. Located at 1330 Park Avenue, the boutique encompasses 500 square meters over two floors. The opening reception coincides with the arrival of NEWOUNSA 2010 spring/summer collection and was attended by celebrities and media representatives that turned out in numbers.
Typically modern in the visual context of the city grid, the store's strong architectural expression was designed by architect Markus Hoffman to establish a distinct presence on one of Beirut's most vibrant retail blocks. Each of the two selling floors is unique in decor yet incorporates NEWOUNSA's visual vocabulary of fine Indian apple wood, polished metal and tactile mirrors interspersed with the boutique's brand combination.
"The distinctive design of the store as well as a footprint which effectively equals the square footage of our original Hazmieh location gives us a dynamic environment to present the depth and breadth of our brands," said Sonia Kfoury NEWOUNSA CEO. "We consider the establishment of this extraordinary flagship presence as a significant milestone in NEWOUNSA's growth strategy," she added.
Showcasing more than fifteen exclusive German and Italian brands, the store's selection represents the comprehensive NEWOUNSA product range for women including: ready-to-wear, bags and accessories.
