The company's participation is a great opportunity to demonstrate the latest development of Epoxy applications


Wednesday, 31 March 2010: Jubail Chemical Industries ( JANA ), a subsidiary of NAMA Chemicals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (listed in SFM), is participating in the Middle East Coatings Exhibition in Dubai, one of the largest coatings events in the world that offers the latest paint and coatings technologies and solutions for the region's environmental, manufacturing and industrial needs. JANA hosted a gathering of its partners and distributors to share with them the latest development in the business as well as reviewing the company's performance in its effort to meet the customers' needs. The company's technical experts discussed alternative methods and specific solutions that meet customers' growing product performance demands. JANA has been actively participating in the event ever since 2000.

Konstantinos Matthaiou, Sales and Marketing Director of JANA , stated in this context:

"We are very excited about our participation once again in the exhibition, as it is a great opportunity for us to interact with our clients and others in the field. It is an occasion that allows us to meet and network with industry experts from all around the world. And considering that we are becoming one of the leading Epoxy producers in the region, we definitely need to be present at such events where we have the ability to both increase awareness about our processes and learn from other experiences as well".

Matthaiou added that JANA is currently doubling its Epoxy capacity, which will reach to 120 Thousand Ton by 2012, to continue serving the increasing demand on Epoxy products from their regional and international clients.

JANA 's marketing, technical, and customer support experts are participating in the event to meet with customers and exhibitors, promoting the regional industry and its ability to be a reliable and strategic partner.

Abdolmohsen Al Ogaili, CEO of NAMA Chemicals , commented on their affiliate participation:

JANA is currently selling its products to the regional and Global markets through direct marketing and its distributors around the world. It also has direct agreements with a number of major industrial consumers to supply their Global needs on Epoxy Resins.

About the company history:
The company was founded in 1992, and has established two industrial projects in Jubail industrial city; "Jana" and "Soda", for the production of Epoxy, Epoxy Resins, Caustic Soda and Epichlorohydrin as well as various other products. Both are owned 100% by "NAMA" chemicals. Also the company invested in other petrochemical projects such as "Ibn Rushud" and " Ynsab" subsidiaries of SABIC.
