Samarah Dead Sea Resort awards infrastructure contract

The contract valued at JD 3.6 million is for road, irrigation, power & telecom networking and related work in the resort development managed by Emaar International Jordan .
Arab Towers, a leading construction company in Jordan, will undertake a range of infrastructure support works that also cover drainage, external works and water tanks at the Rift site of Samarah Dead Sea Resort.
He added: "With the infrastructure development work now taking momentum, we will focus attention on other aspects of the community development, and ensure that customers can check in to a fully integrated neighbourhood."
The contract covers work on roads and parking, drainage, irrigation and fire safety installations, power and telecom networking, hard and soft landscaping, boundary walls and other related work.
The Samarah Dead Sea Resort is in line with the growth plan for Jordan as outlined by the King Abdullah II Fund for Development . The first phase of the project is progressing with remarkable on-ground construction, undertaken to the highest standards. The focus of Emaar is now on completing the infrastructure and the construction of the homes in line with the company's commitment to deliver on promises. With the first phase coming on line, the region will become a buzz of activity and a modern lifestyle destination in the Dead Sea region.
