18 January 2010

The Al Towar Centre of Dubai Municipality has been shifted to its new premises opposite to the existing office at Al Towar on Sunday.

Khalid Ali Bin Zayed, Director of Municipality Centres Department said that Dubai Municipality is seeking to provide a suitable environment for offering the Municipality services as well as the services of local and federal departments at the new centre ensuring the quality of services and simplifying procedures.

Bin Zayed said that the opening of the new building of Municipality Centre at Al Towar area comes as an important step and part of the measures taken by the Municipality that reiterates its position as one of the largest government organizations in Dubai in terms of the workforce and volume of services it provides as well as the projects and works it carries out.

In the drive towards decentralization and activation of the branch centres and the services it offers the Municipality has been keen to set up branches in various residential areas to serve the residents of those areas. By this the Municipality also ensures the realization of its objectives in establishing branch centres in order to facilitate the residents of those areas so as not to bother them to come to the Municipality Headquarters for the completion of their transactions.

All the services of the Municipality provided by Al Tawar Centre will be offered at the new premises too, in addition to that of the services of the Roads and Transport Authority.
