President: Iran, Comoros ties brotherly, idealogical

Tehran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation with President of Comoros called bilateral ties 'brotherly and idealogical' and underlined deepening and strengthening mutual relations.

According to the Presidential Office website on Tuesday, Ahmadinejad in his conversation with Comoros President Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi, by referring to the Comoros activities in the direction of progress, expressed hope that the Comoros nation could continue its way to progress and honor.

He added that he hoped brotherly and friendly morale in Africa can increase more and more and Comoros can play an important role in strengthening such morale there.

The Comoros president, for his part, underlined necessity of strengthening bilateral ties in different fields and called for acceleration of implementation of bilateral agreements and projects.
