Petrochem Exports Top $3b
Iran has exported $3.1 billion of petrochemical products this year.
Managing director of
National Petrochemical Company
of Iran told Moj News Agency that the country plans to export $5.8 billion of petrochemicals this year, and exports have reached $3.1 billion over the past seven months.
The country also exported 110,000 tons of cement to its neighboring countries this year. Cement exports to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Central Asia valued at $7,558,000 in the first half of the year (started March 21). Markazi province’s annual production capacity for cement stands at 3 million tons.
Also 30 tons of tea were exported to France this week valued at $13,000.
During the first half of the year, Iran exported 500 tons of tea to France, India and Persian Gulf states valued at $348,000.
Tea is cultivated in Mazandaran province holding 4,200 hectares of land.
