IMC to expand specialities
JEDDAH: The International Medical Center (IMC) has approved its plan to expand some of its specialties that will enhance its patients' care and experience."We are fortunate to conclude both local and international partnerships that place IMC on the map of health care providers with international standards in the region," Dr. Walid Fitaihi, CEO and chairman of the board of directors of IMC, said at the board meeting held on Sunday.
The day also marked the third anniversary of the IMC, which was highlighted by a lecture later in the night by Dr. Floyd Loop, former CEO and chairman of the board of governors at the US-based Cleveland Clinic and former president of the American Association of Cardiothoracic surgery.
Dr. Fitaihi said the local and international partnerships reached during the current year would help revive the principle of building mutual trust among its patients, partners, corporations and insurance providers. "This trust has given its fruits in exceeding the optimistic growth projections in the number of patients as well as financial returns, while preserving the global quality standards over the last three years," he added.
