Iraqi ministers urge Japanese firms to return to Iraq
Iraqi Ministers of Industry & Minerals Fawzy Franso Hariri and Oil Hussein al-Shahrestani, during a seminar on investment in Iraq, called on Japanese companies to return to the country, according a ministerial release on Monday."Hariri discussed with representatives of some Japanese companies means of having them return to invest in Iraq," read the release as received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"The minister has expressed readiness to offer all possible facilities for the return of these companies to work in Iraq again and to contribute to the country's reconstruction and development," it noted.
Hariri and Shahrestani had attended a seminar on investment in Iraq in the presence of 250 top Japanese industrialists and businessmen.
