Green Packet is strong in the MEA WiMAX space

Aims for further traction at WiMAX Forum® Regional MENA
21 June, 2009, Dubai - Green Packet Berhad (Greenpacket), a leading developer of Next Generation Mobile Broadband and Networking Solutions, is receiving enthusiastic response from operators in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region for its WiMAX products and solutions. Green Packet has so far entered into as many as 15 WiMAX CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) trialing with operators from 12 countries in the region.

Greenpacket first established itself in the MEA region in 2007. Firmly committed to developing the MEA market, the Company entered into a joint-venture with Saudi Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) to set up Green Packet Networks W.L.L., operating out of Bahrain,

The showcase includes its award-wining WiMAX CPEs and its intelligent Intouch Connection Management Platform (ICMP). This will take place at Green Packet Stand #5 at WiMAX Forum^® Regional MENA, Movenpick Bur Hotel, Dubai throughout the two-day event.
