Qatar Petroleum takes part in Gastech exhibition

DOHA: Qatar Petroleum (QP) is participating in the Gastech 2009 conference and exhibition in Abu Dhabi. Gastech was opened on Monday by General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikhs, senior officials, dignitaries and leaders of the oil and gas industry at the recently completed Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

This is the largest-ever Gastech exhibition, taking up over 13,000 square metres and featuring 400 exhibitors from 32 countries. Sheikh Mohamed visited the QP stand, where he was received by Qatargas and Rasgas senior officials.

The QP stand is shared with RasGas , Qatargas , Ras Laffan Industrial City , Mesaieed Industrial City and Nakilat .

Gastech 2009 which is being hosted by Adnoc under the theme 'Gas: A time of change a time for challenges, solutions and alternatives' is designed to help delegates keep abreast of industry developments, obtain technical knowledge and understand the issues affecting today's global gas industry.
