Dubai Trade wins high praise for aiding Dubai's growth
Portal facilitator steps up customer outreach drive; held talks with Al Yousuf LLC
Dubai, May 09, 2009: Dubai Trade, the innovative online service provider and trade facilitator of Dubai World , has won high praise for the contributions it is making to Dubai's economic growth through its integrated portal, which serves thousands of importers, exporters and distributors.
The premier trade facilitator's services and its constant search for enhanced performance were discussed at a senior level meeting between the two entities presided by Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director of Dubai Trade, and Raju Valliath Varghese, Import & Planning Manager of Al Yousuf LLC, held at the group's Deira office on Monday, April 27.
The meeting, part of Dubai Trade's ongoing one-to-one customer contact programme, dealt with the various transaction options provided by the service provider's portal www.dubaitrade.ae and Al Yousuf LLC's experience in using them. Dubai Trade's aim is to seek the client's feedback, assess the level of performance and enhance the services as required.
Representatives of Al Yousuf LLC, a Dubai-based group with diversified operations across the Gulf region, responded positively to the portal's services, which enable the user to conduct business online, with leading Dubai World entities such as DP World, the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai Multi Commodities Center, as well as Dubai Customs, and make direct, secured online transactions through a single access.
Mahmood Al Bastaki, Director of Dubai Trade, said: "Dubai Trade offers the trade community a single window facility to interact with all the key supply chain and logistics service providers in addition to the traders themselves. We are happy to receive feedbacks from companies such as Al Yousuf LLC that our portal is helping them save precious workforce time and cut costs through real-time transactions. The smooth flow of trade contributes directly to the growth of Dubai's economy."
Raju Valliath Varghese of Al Yousuf LLC, said: "As regular users of Dubai Trade portal we are highly impressed by its efficiency, and we are pleased to note the positive changes that the Dubai Trade portal has brought to the trade sector through its user-friendly electronic transaction system. This service has indeed saved us considerable time and money."
By covering the end-to end supply chain, Dubai Trade brings together into a single community a vast majority of companies that interact with these establishments.
The portal has become highly popular in Dubai's trading community, necessitating constant watch on its efficiency and regular fine-tuning based on the feedback from customers.
