FranExcel Helps Lease Prime Retail Space in Dubai Marina
FranExcel, the leading Middle East franchise marketing and consultancy firm, has helped a leading property developer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, lease retail space at one of its prestigious buildings in the new Dubai Marina.Speaking on the project, FranExcel sales Director Nick Boury said, "We were approached by an agent of a prominent developer in Dubai and were commissioned to source and secure premium tenants for their flagship residential project in Dubai Marina, the Iris Blue Tower. As FranExcel has excellent direct contacts throughout the regional franchise and retail industries, we were able to quickly identify suitable candidates and we helped the developer lease the all the space very quickly. "
Prime retail space has become a premium across Dubai, with waiting lists at most major malls and retail projects. FranExcel was able to efficiently identify the best possible potential tenants working to the client's strict criteria for the type of retail companies and brands they wanted to have in their development. As a result, the Bahrain-based Jawad Business Group leased the entire retail space and will place a number of their premium food & beverage brands in the location. The handover will be done in September 2008.
Boury went on to say, "Sourcing quality tenants can sometimes be just as difficult for developers, as it is for retailers to secure prime locations. Our confidential and discreet service to developers, ensured that the transaction was completed successfully and that residents of that particular project and its environs can look forward to a high quality retail offering on their doorstep."
Based on the success that FranExcel achieved in this project, the company has been approached by a number of other developers and their agents and is now working on new, similar assignments.
This success and the inherent regional issues of sourcing and securing good retail locations, has lead FranExcel to strongly consider launching a dedicated Real Estate division, which will help both developers and franchisees across the Middle East region.
Developers interested in leasing their retail space throughout the GCC region are invited to contact FranExcel directly for more information on its confidential and professional services, for all current and future retail projects.
