Award for Dana Gas
DUBAI - Dana Gas , the Middle East's first and largest regional private-sector natural gas company, has been awarded "Best New Concept" for the Al Baraka well in Southern Egypt's Komombo concession by the EPEX at the 2007 Best Achievements Awards Ceremony.EPEX is the gateway of spreading and exchanging applied petroleum exploration knowledge among the different members of the Egyptian exploration community for the stimulation of new ideas, concepts and innovation of new exploration technology.
The Best Achievements Awards are presented by EPEX in cooperation with, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation , the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company , and the Ganoub El Wadi Holding Petroleum Company .
The award was presented to Dana Gas in recognition of its discoveries in Southern Egypt.
