Dolphin starts supplying gas to Sharjah
ABU DHABI -- Dolphin Energy Limited has started supplying the emirate of Sharjah with gas for the first time.The gas is being delivered to the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) , on an interruptible basis, via Dolphin 's new pipeline connection to Dubai. Dolphin already supplies gas directly to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
Through existing supply arrangements to the Federal Electricity & Water Authority (FEWA) , and Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) , the company now supplies all UAE Emirates with its natural gas.
Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Dolphin Energy 's Chief Executive Officer, said: " Dolphin is happy that it can supply gas to Sharjah to meet the Emirate's growing energy needs. Dolphin gas is currently helping all of the UAE's emirates to meet power demand, and we shall assist wherever we can in future."
