DOHA - A consortium of local and regional companies is to set up a facility for extruded aluminum products manufacturing in Qatar to meet the growing demand for the products in the construction sector.
The new project is a joint venture of several well known industrial and commercial names in the region, some of whom are end-users of extruded aluminium products. The joint venture comprises Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company, Salam Investment International Company, Aluminium Technology Auxiliary Industries, Qatar Real Estate Investment Company, Shuaa Al-Khaleej Aluminium Industry Company and Q-Industrial of Abu Dhabi.
Speaking at a signing ceremony of the Article of Association by the joint venture partners, Chairman of the Founding Committee, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Jabor Al Thani expressed his strong belief in the success of the new project in view of the strong collaborative effort it encompasses by both experienced manufacturing organisations and end-users.
