Nokia Siemens Networks calls on for importance of operational efficiency in the telecom industry
Industry seminar hosts top operators of the region in Beirut, Lebanon

Global Telecommunications provider Nokia Siemens Networks recently held an industry seminar in Beirut, Lebanon, hosting the leading telecommunication providers of Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. The seminar stressed and discussed the importance of operational efficiency in the region, and offered best in class solutions for operators to achieve it.

The meeting attracted high level management, decision makers, as well as technical level audience from Lebanon's providers, Comium, OGERO and MTC Touch, Syria's MTN and Syriatel , in addition to Jordan's Zain, Umniah, X-Press and Jordan Telecom .

The conference also featured speakers from Nokia Siemens Networks , Nokia, Arab Advisors Group, TRA Lebanon and TRC Jordan.

In today's competitive environment, greater operational efficiency translates into higher margins and faster-than-market growth. According to research benchmarking analyses, overall industry profits could rise by 13% if all service providers operated at the same high level of efficiency as the market leaders. They can spend less time on internal systems and processes, and more time on their customers and core business to build more sophisticated customer relationship systems.

Nokia Siemens Networks strengthened its commitment to achieving operational efficiency through its demonstrations of several of its solutions at the seminar, which included IMS demo, Flexi BTS, in addition to a Nokia terminal demo.

"Today Nokia Siemens Networks is one of the key solutions providers in the telecommunications industry. As the region experiences new and emerging technologies and a growing telecom user-base, Nokia Siemens Networks is strongly positioned to help operators connect the rising number of fixed and mobile subscribers across the region," Said Mr. Faisal Hakki, Research Manager, Arab Advisors Group.
