Green Packet partners with five high profile clients during Gulfcomms 2007
Boosted Partner Program to promote early adoption of SON wireless products in Middle EastGreen Packet Networks (GPN), a leading broadband wireless technology provider and Next Generation mobile solutions developer, has today (Sunday, September 09, 2007) partnered with five high profile clients during a press conference held at the Gulfcomms 2007 exhibition in Dubai. The move is a boost for GPN's Partner Program, which aims to promote an early adoption of GPN's range of Self Organising Network (SON) wireless products throughout the Middle East and will facilitate additional product launches in the near future.
Two Saudi-based companies joined the Program, including NESMA Advanced Technology (NESMA), a leading Systems Integrator (SI) and provider of IT solutions and connectivity; and Semanoor, a well known provider of e-learning software development. One Kuwaiti company, Computer Data Networks (CDN), a professional service provider in IT and communications; as well as Etisalcom, one of Bahrain's principal communications providers of next generation voice, video and data services; also joined the Program after exchanging documents during the conference. The fifth new partner is Trapeze Networks, a leading global provider of wireless LAN equipment and management software for medium to large businesses and the award-winning global provider of Smart Mobile wireless solutions.
"We are delighted with our new partners, as they are all very professional companies that will help us achieve our goal of marketing our SON products and VOIP solutions in key markets across the region. It is our strategy to significantly strengthen our global presence, and partnerships such as these will help us penetrate tough markets and receive local support," said Dr. Ali Al Mashat, Chairman of GPN.
It is the first time that GPN will be participating at Gulfcomms, and will be showcasing its new PacketEyes Home Surveillance solution and the SONbuddy Connect! Platform, in addition to its full range of Self Organising Network (SON) products at Stand Z-11 Zabeel Hall. All of GPN's products are based on cost effective, fast and reliable technology independent of the backbone infrastructure.
Semanoor is a leader in e-learning software development, and has developed a unique, comprehensive and content-rich platform for e-learning applications for schools and students. Semanoor's education platform is being implemented in the public and private schools in KSA, and includes products such as a DVD that contains official government curriculum's, and a wireless digital Quran.
CDN is a Kuwaiti based company that provides professional services in the fields of Information Technology and communications to clients based in Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain. CDN functions either as a turnkey vendor or as the designer and supplier of high speed local and wide area networks, internet and intranet Systems, computers, peripherals and IT professionals.
NESMA is a diversified IT solutions provider, having been operating since 1996 in the areas of eCommerce and internet service provision in KSA and the Gulf states. The company offers a wide range of in-house capabilities to provide cost effective solutions and services, and is committed to growth through leveraging strategic partnerships with world class technology vendors and business integrators.
Etisalcom Bahrain is a key communications provider in the region, and aims to provide national and global telecom and IT services to deliver innovative and customised solutions that will drive businesses into the future. Trapeze Networks offers solutions that are optimised for companies with thousands of mobile workers and high bandwidth requirements such as healthcare, education, government, hospitality, retail, and transportation.
GPN Bahrain is a joint venture between Green Packet Berhad, a Malaysian-based technology company; and Saudi Economic and Development Co., (SEDCO) , a Saudi-based investment company.
GULFCOMMS is one of the three trade segments incorporated in this year's GITEX Technology Week, which is designed to highlight the region's booming telecommunications sector. The event will include speakers and exhibits, live demonstrations of communications applications, and product launches of some of the most innovative telecommunications solutions.
