ADDF announces 15 winners of Big Ticket Draw

New format appealing to participants with more prizes than ever before
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi Duty Free has today announced the 15 winners of its 'Big Ticket' raffle draw for May - the increase in the number of winners from 10 to 15 in recognition of the continuing anniversary celebrations commemorating 15 years of ADDF's monthly raffle draw.

Mr. Nasr Kenan, a UAE-resident from Syria, won the first prize of Dhs 1,000,000 having bought the ticket when travelling from Abu Dhabi to Cairo on a business trip.

Kenan, a buyer of the 'Big Ticket' since its inception 15 years ago, is the coffee shop owner of Alfredo's in Abu Dhabi Mall, and married with two children. Asked what he planned to do with the winnings, he said he will be using the money to further his business expansion in Egypt.

The second prize (AED100,000) down to the fifteenth prize (AED5,000) winners included a total of nine nationalities with a around a third of winners having purchased their tickets online via ADDF's website at www.addf.ae.

The other lucky winners of the Big Ticket's May draw are the following: Wael Abdel Waheed, Egyptian (2^nd prize, Dhs. 100,000), Chuliachan Vijay Vargese, Indian (3^rd prize, Dhs. 90,000), Babu Uovinda, Indian (4^th prize, Dhs. 70,000), Mohammed Nabeel, Indian (5^th prize, Dhs. 60,000), Basheer Ahmed Refayer Ahmed, Indian (6^th prize, Dhs. 50,000), Khalid Mohammed Mohidden, Indian (7^th prize, Dhs. 40,000), Mohamed Saleh Mohammed Meera, Somali (8^th prize, Dhs. 30,000), Jesaline D' Silva, Indian (9^th prize, Dhs. 20,000), Nick Anton Bartido Ramos c/o Florendo Ramos , Filipino (10^th prize, Dhs. 10,000), Tixier, French (11^th prize, Dhs. 7,500), Abdulrahman S. Alkanhal, Saudi (12^th prize, Dhs. 7,500), Robert Gilmour Heenan, British (13^th prize, Dhs. 5,000), Cholakkal Bhaskaran, Indian (14^th prize, Dhs. 5,000), and Rolando Caparas Zamora, Filipino (15^th prize, Dhs. 5,000).

Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF)
Established in 1984 with just five shops, Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) has grown into a multi-award winning travel retail organization and as the second-largest operation in the Middle East maintains the highest average spend per customer of all Middle East Duty Free operations.

With a total prize fund of AED 1,500,000 (USD 407,830) or AED 1,000,000 (USD 271,887) for first prize, tickets are typically priced at AED 500 (USD 135) each.

ADDF services extend across the Emirate with operations at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, and the Ghweifat land-border outlet between the UAE and KSA.
