ADDF announces 15 winners of Big Ticket Draw
New format appealing to participants with more prizes than ever before
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi Duty Free has today announced the 15 winners of its 'Big Ticket' raffle draw for May - the increase in the number of winners from 10 to 15 in recognition of the continuing anniversary celebrations commemorating 15 years of ADDF's monthly raffle draw.
Mr. Nasr Kenan, a UAE-resident from Syria, won the first prize of Dhs 1,000,000 having bought the ticket when travelling from Abu Dhabi to Cairo on a business trip.
Kenan, a buyer of the 'Big Ticket' since its inception 15 years ago, is the coffee shop owner of Alfredo's in Abu Dhabi Mall, and married with two children. Asked what he planned to do with the winnings, he said he will be using the money to further his business expansion in Egypt.
The other lucky winners of the Big Ticket's May draw are the following: Wael Abdel Waheed, Egyptian (2nd prize, Dhs. 100,000), Chuliachan Vijay Vargese, Indian (3rd prize, Dhs. 90,000), Babu Uovinda, Indian (4th prize, Dhs. 70,000), Mohammed Nabeel, Indian (5th prize, Dhs. 60,000), Basheer Ahmed Refayer Ahmed, Indian (6th prize, Dhs. 50,000), Khalid Mohammed Mohidden, Indian (7th prize, Dhs. 40,000), Mohamed Saleh Mohammed Meera, Somali (8th prize, Dhs. 30,000), Jesaline D' Silva, Indian (9th prize, Dhs. 20,000), Nick Anton Bartido Ramos c/o Florendo Ramos , Filipino (10th prize, Dhs. 10,000), Tixier, French (11th prize, Dhs. 7,500), Abdulrahman S. Alkanhal, Saudi (12th prize, Dhs. 7,500), Robert Gilmour Heenan, British (13th prize, Dhs. 5,000), Cholakkal Bhaskaran, Indian (14th prize, Dhs. 5,000), and Rolando Caparas Zamora, Filipino (15th prize, Dhs. 5,000).
