Saudi Arabia: SRMG, Subsidiaries Introduce Websites
RIYADH, 16 May 2007 -- The Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) and its subsidiaries launched their respective websites yesterday.In a gathering held at its headquarters here, Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman and CEO of the SRMG , who opened the group's website, said "the aim of SRMG posting its websites on the Internet is to enable everyone related to the companies of the group such as its shareholders, readers and surfers to get information with total transparency."
The prince also assured that the websites would be continuously upgraded in keeping with the technological advancement to match the group's achievements and fame.
The website provides information about the group and its subsidiaries, including the administrative decisions as well as periodic and other financial reports.
Abdullah Bahamdan, a member of the board, with Ahmad Al-Sudais, assistant director general of the Saudi Research and Publishing Co. (SRPC) , launched the SRPC site www.srpc.com that provides detailed information on the company and its activities including administrative and technical matters. The site would also provide browsing on all SRPC publications.
Suleiman ibn Saad Al-Humaid, member of the board, with Tariq Al-Gain, executive president of the Saudi Printing and Packaging Co (SPPC) , opened the website of SPPC , www.sppc.com, which provides information about the printing and other activities of the company.
The website of the Saudi Distribution Co , www.saudidistribution.com was opened by Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Kharashi, member of the board, with Abdul Rahman Al-Meshwah, assistant director of the Saudi Distribution Co . The site provides information about the company and its fleet that distributes publications of the company and others.
Muhammad ibn Omar Al-Essai, member of the board, with Emad Al-Awda, director general of the Information and Technology Center opened the Arab Media Co.'s website, www.arabmediaco.com., which provides information about online subscription service and advertisement tariff for the company's publications.
