Cognos partner LETS signs Major Contract with United Industries Company
Selected as vendor to implement Cognos Corporate Performance Management (CPM)Downstream Industries Giant to Work With Cognos Gold Reseller Partner
Kuwait City, Kuwait: Leading Edge Technology Services (LETS), a Cognos Gold Reseller Partner, recently announced that United Industries Company ( UIC ) has selected LETS as one of the vendors to implement Cognos Corporate Performance Management (CPM).
UIC , a Kuwaiti shareholding company and member of the KIPCO Group, concentrates its investment - coordinated by a carefully designed restructuring plan - in the downstream industries sector. The company seeks to leverage selected investment opportunities and to enter into industrial projects that offer promising potentials in the medium and long terms. Such targets are pursued especially vigorously in the energy and food sectors, requiring specialist systems and software.
UIC 's decision to implement Cognos CPM through LETS was based in part on the personnel working for the latter. LETS employs skilled and experienced Cognos consultants, combining business and IT backgrounds, and domain expertise.
"The strength of the Cognos CPM solution will enable business users across the company to have 'One Version of the Truth' and we needed a powerful CPM tool that was flexible and user-friendly to allow us quick access to data and to measure the performance of the company," added Pattillath.
"We thank UIC for their trust in both us and Cognos. We strive to provide quality services to all our customers and consider UIC to be our business partner, working closely to meet our common ambitions. LETS is more than capable of realising this goal, completing the project on time and as planned," added Kishore.
"A contract such as this represents continued confidence in our methodology and the quality of the solutions we provide. At Cognos we are extremely proud of our success in putting customers on the path to effective performance management," said Derek Morrison, Regional General Manager.
