Starwood plans two new Four Points brand hotels in Dubai
Dubai - Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc is set to re-launch the Four Points brand with the upcoming opening of two new Four Points hotels in what is arguably the most dynamic and high-profile market in the region.The Four Points by Sheraton, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai will be housed in a multi-story glass and steel building with 43 floors. Opening in mid 2007, the hotel will have a strategic location on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the heart of Dubai's financial centre.
The Four Points Downtown Dubai will also open in mid 2007 in the Golden Sands area of Dubai. A newly built property, the hotel will cater to the business and family segment visiting Dubai and looking for a comfortable and stylish hotel is quieter surroundings.
The hotels are owned by Golden Sands Hotels LLC, a subsidiary of the Arenco Group , a Dubai-based company with diverse interests in real estate, including hotels. The company has its origins in the 1970s, when it was established as one of the first architectural and engineering firms in the UAE.
