Fitaihi Opens Jewelry Showroom in Riyadh
RIYADH, 22 February 2007 -- Fitaihi Jewelry , a pioneer Saudi company renowned for its quality luxury jewelry and gifts, opened its state-of-the art jewelry showroom in the heart of the capital on Tuesday evening. Located at Olaya Street, the new Fitaihi Jewelry Center which is designed to cater to elite shoppers, also includes a special section for Scintilla Monaco, the famous diamond jewelry brand from Monaco, in which Fitaihi is the official dealer in Saudi Arabia.Ahmed Hassan Fitaihi, chief executive officer of Fitaihi Company , told newsmen here soon after cutting the ribbon to mark the opening that "the new showroom will cater to a large clientele of customers who go for luxury jewelry and gifts."
Over the years, Fitaihi has become synonymous with global quality and exclusive jewelry. And true to its name which is generally associated to luxurious jewelries and elegantly fashionable accessories, it took the company almost a year to design and decorate the Fitaihi Al-Olaya just to ensure harmony between customers' needs for luxury items and shopping freedom yet with privacy.
Franco De Marco, manager business development worldwide of Scintilla Monaco, said "this is the first time we are introducing Scintilla Monaco shopping concept in the Kingdom through this new showroom." The idea is to make the customers feel that they are in Monaco, he added. He described the Kingdom as a huge market for diamonds, as it holds 70 percent of the share in the Middle East.
Welcoming the latest thrust of the government to Saudize the gold market, Fitaihi said: "The effort will be successful since we will have skilled people to handle the jewelry market due to the organized programs undertaken by the government."
