Manchester United Soccer Schools Confirms Participation In Sportex
24th November, 2006: Manchester United Soccer School(MUSS) would be present in all its red glory, as its trademark inflatable machine invites youngsters to test their shooting skills, at the 4th edition of Sportex, scheduled from 27 -29 November 2006, at Dubai World Trade Centre.Manchester United Schools Schools has confirmed its participation in Sportex . The confirmation of MUSS' involvement in the largest B2B sports exhibition in the region is part of Dubai Sports City's sponsorship of the event.
Confirming the participation, Mike Duxbury, Head Coach for MUSS said: "We are participating in Sportex under the larger umbrella of Dubai Sports City. Since Sportex is the largest business event dedicated to sports in the region, we aim to utilize this opportunity to create better awareness for the Manchester United Soccer Schools."
According to Mr. Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President of International Expo Consults(IEC), which organizes the event: "Sportex -06 is hugely focusing on introducing sports to children in the Middle East. As part of our drive to promote sports, healthy and an active life style, we are planning a lot of interesting activities, informative and pure fun sessions for youngsters. We are sure the Manchester United Soccer Schools' participation will be a hit with soccer enthusiasts and would inspire many more children to take up the game."
According to Mike Duxbury, a former England international who played for Manchester United for over ten years, "the speed gun concept which looks at improving a player's technique is only one part of the unique innovative soccer equipment used by Manchester United Soccer Schools."
In addition, the presence of a representative throughout the course of the event would facilitate first hand information on aims, activities and programme modules offered by MUSS in Dubai.
