LG and Al Yousuf conclude successful retail summer promotion
Overwhelming consumer response to month-long campaign sees 37 per cent sales growthDubai, UAE, August 10, 2006: Global and regional digital leader LG Electronics and its UAE distribution partner Al Yousuf Electronics, have announced the conclusion of its retail summer promotion, reporting an 37 per cent increase in sales revenue over the corresponding period last year.
Customers buying select LG products of AED200 or more, at any of Al Yousuf Electronics' showrooms across the Emirates, could enter into a raffle draw for an opportunity to win prizes ranging from a Chevrolet Trailblazer as the grand prize or eight trips to Europe. The summer promotion ran from May 23 to July 31.
This week, the raffle draw was conducted at the Al Yousuf Electronics showroom in Ibn Batutta Mall, under the supervision of Saeed Jaffar, senior co-ordinator at the Dubai Economic Department. Amber Dale was the lucky winner of the Chevrolet Trailblazer in the mega draw, while eight other lucky shoppers won trips to Europe.
"The promotion has been very successful and we have witnessed an increased footfall during the two months," said Pawan Sharma, Assistant Manager at Al Yousuf Electronics. "By offering this campaign, we aimed at rewarding LG customers for their unstinting loyalty and trust in the LG brand. The response has been beyond our expectations."
