Car Rental Giant Thrifty Capitalises on Oman's Booming Tourist Trade

With the Sultanate of Oman recently voted the destination for 2006 by luxury lifestyle magazine, Conde-Nast Traveller, Thrifty, one of the region's most successful car rental agencies, has today announced details of its promotional summer offers in the mystical land.

Throughout the coming months - up until July 15^th - shrewd travellers who lease a vehicle from the Oman page of the Thrifty website (www.thrifty.com) will receive a 10% discount on Economy, Compact, Mid-Size and Full-Size cars. Those wishing to explore the country's famous mountainous and desert terrain will benefit from a discount of 20% upon renting a Full Size SUV (4X4) vehicle.

Thrifty Car Rental has also recently announced a significant enhancement of their rental fleet, which now features a full line of vehicles, including Honda City, Toyota Corolla, Mazda 6, Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Magna, Toyota Prado, Nissan Patrol and Toyota Landcruiser, all of which will be accessible to visitors to Oman.
