Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Performance, power and reliability were cited as the main reasons behind Advantage Taxi's decision to choose Chevrolet vehicles, as they meet the challenge of setting up one of four new taxi franchises in Sharjah head on.

As part of their ongoing dedication to becoming a key partner in the local transport needs of the UAE, Advantage Taxi has already begun to take delivery of 350 Chevrolet Epicas and 20 Chevrolet Uplanders, with more to follow.

"Chevrolet has a heritage stretching back more than eight decades in the Middle East and today is GM's foundation brand, boasting the widest line-up of vehicles in the Middle East," says Muneer Alhasan, regional fleet manager - General Motors. "It is testament to Advantage Taxi's commitment to providing their customers with the best service possible that they have chosen to build their fleet with vehicles that truly stand out in their respective segments."

Greetings!!!
This is not a comment actually, I want to make a complain for one of your rude taxi driver with taxi plate no. 23365.

It was happened in the night of thursday dated 11-04-2008 as about 19:30 hours in Al Qasimia Rd. in front of Sunrise Supermarket. I was looking for a taxi for more than half an hour on the road. There's a lot of people looking for a taxi and 99% of them are men.
Finally I've found him but, I became unfortunate when he given an unethical reaction towards me. I sat inside the taxi for about 3 minutes and he is shouting terribly at me. The conversation goes like this...

Driver : " YOU GO OUT, IM NOT GOING TO FURNITURE RD., IM GOING TO INDUSTRIAL AREA!!! GO OUT!!!..."

He can say to me in a nice way that " My friend can go down because im not going to old furniture, im going to somewhere else". He has no ethics and doesn't know how to treat his passenger in a professional manner.

Hope this story will not be repeated again next time...
