SRPC Launches New Venture With Dubai Holding
Sharjah - Saudi Research and Publishing Company (SRPC) has joined Dubai Holding to set up a joint venture, Moutamarat, which will manage conferences and exhibitions in the Arab world. An agreement was signed on Saturday by Dubai Holding's chief executive officer, Mohammed Al-Gergawi, and Dr. Azzam Al-Dakhil, deputy chairman of Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG) and managing director of SRPC.
"Moutamarat will develop its own portfolio of conferences and exhibitions with a strong focus on quality, innovative research and a clear sense of serving the public interest," Gergawi said.
"In addition, Moutamarat will work with leading organizers to attract global meetings to the region and will seek strategic partnerships with like-minded institutions across the Gulf," he said.
"SRPC brings to this joint venture the reach of a media and communications giant, ensuring the broadest diffusion of knowledge generated by Moutamarat's events as well as a wide choice of specialized media titles that guarantee in-depth analysis," the SRPC chief said.
The ultimate objective is to advance the business and industrial agendas of the region and to provide real take-home value for the participants, said Dakhil. The formation of Moutamarat is one of SRPC's strategic goals. It is part of the plan to enter new markets that have a tremendous potential for growth, he added.
