The HiTs-Unitel mobile company launched its main telephone exchange in Sana'a last Monday and promised to bring down calling costs for Yemenis via special offers.
Since launching the company three weeks ago under the HiTs-Unitel brand, the company has witnessed huge demand according to, Nader Kalai, chairman of the company's Board of Directors.
"The company depends on a good network of distributors who have enough experience to offer the best sales service to its clients," said Kalai, "We have invested in state of the art technology for our customers." "The company is putting the final touches to its grid and tweaking other technical requirements for the network, which will commence operations very soon," he said. "The first stage will cover nine governorates and the main highways."
"Yemeni, Saudi, Kuwaiti, and Emirati investors established HiTs-Unitel last year, with an estimated capital, of $200 million. It will combine good coverage with high quality of service and of the line," Kalai said.
