Chinese Premier visits Burj Khalifa
Dubai, Jan 17th, 2012 (WAM)--Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has toured Burj Khalifa and other tourist and business areas in Dubai.
He climbed to the 124th floor in Khalifa Burj, where he viewed the landmarks of Dubai City, expressing his admiration about the progress of the UAE in general and Dubai in particular, thanks to the vision of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.The Chinese Premier also toured the Chinese Dragon Mart at Al Warsan district, where he met huge crowd of Chinese who cheered him, expressing their pleasure of meeting him in the UAE. Jiabao talked to a number of shop owners.The Chinese Dragon Mart is the biggest market at the Middle East level. It includes about 3, 000 shops.Jiaboa was accompanied during the tour by Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, State Minister, UAE Ambassador to China Omer Udai and Chinese Ambassador to UAE Gao Yusheng.
