Abu Dhabi Media reveals new brand identity
Abu Dhabi, March 13th, 2011 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi Media today unveiled its new corporate brand and visual identity.
The company is also adopting Abu Dhabi Media , formerly Abu Dhabi Media Company , as the new corporate name.Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman, Abu Dhabi Media said: " Abu Dhabi Media is a modern media company driven by creativity and innovation, yet still deeply rooted in the heritage and values of our Emirate. Our new corporate brand elegantly communicates the bold direction we are taking as a company and our commitment to our local community and culture. The re-launch of our corporate brand reinforces our focus on contributing to the continued growth of our dynamic local media industry."The rebranding initiative includes a new corporate brand identity, a television commercial, the redesign of the company’s corporate website, www.admedia.ae, and an entire range of communication materials and collateral.Shaikha Al Shamsi, Associate Director, Corporate Branding, Abu Dhabi Media said: "We are excited to introduce a brand identity that truly articulates our company’s spirit. This is a fresh, bold design that reflects the energy and dynamism of our company and employees."To develop the new corporate brand identity, Abu Dhabi Media worked closely with the Office of the Brand of Abu Dhabi (OBAD). The group provided guidance on how to best integrate elements of the Emirate’s brand into the new identity design, and helped set the framework for developing a brand identity which conveys the vision for the future while embracing the heritage of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.The new television commercial is a celebration of some of Abu Dhabi Media’s most cherished brands and content, and features employees from across the company. It also reinforces its focus on creating engaging content, delivering exciting new experiences and continuing to innovate across platforms. The TVC was shot on location, in Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Los Angeles. Abu Dhabi Media engaged the creative teams of Open Abu Dhabi and Brand Faith, two world-class agencies with extensive experience and knowledge of the region.
